The fastest way to get your site indexed by a search engine is to get a link from a popular site to yours.  These links are not easy to come by.  You can also use sitemaps.org as a way of submitting your site to the search engines but you will still need backlinks in order to encourage faster indexing.  One way to get backlinks is by submitting content to other websites that they will publish.   Articles are a common way to achieve this.   You could also write a guest blog.
